In its sixth year, Town Talks with the Mayor invites residents to stay connected through regular updates on topics impacting the Danville community. The program is intended to provide a way for residents to connect with their community leaders and get up-to-the-minute information on the issues and topics important to Danville.

Town Talks with the Mayor is available now in full video on the Town’s YouTube channel, with audio versions streaming wherever you listen to podcasts, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, and more. Residents are encouraged to suggest topics or submit questions for future episodes by emailing towntalks@danville.ca.gov

    The popular Town Talks with the Mayor series is back for 2025 with a new format. Mayor Reneé Morgan hosts this year’s series, which will be presented in a monthly short video format. The shorter videos will cover topical items, and the series begins with a discussion about wildfire preparedness.

    In the first installment, Mayor Morgan interviews Danville Emergency Services Manager Nate McCormack, focusing on what Danville residents can do to make sure they are prepared for potential wildfires. Reflecting on the Los Angeles wildfires, the video offers actionable tips to help the community prepare their homes and families for emergencies before they happen.

    Mayor Karen Stepper Will Discuss Holiday Shopping and Downtown Improvements

    The next edition of Town Talks with the Mayor is November 1, giving the Danville community an opportunity to hear the latest Town news and ask questions of Mayor Karen Stepper. The series will continue with an hour-long discussion Friday, November 1 from 10 to 11 a.m. The broadcast will be available live on Facebook and YouTube, with a recording available afterward on the Town’s social media channels.

    This edition of Town Talks with the Mayor will feature an update on the Downtown Master Plan, the importance of senior housing in our community, and plans for the holidays in Danville. Guests are welcome to submit questions on these or other topics in advance to towntalks@danville.ca.gov, or during the broadcast commenting on Facebook or Youtube.
